I had free time today. I haven’t eaten shaomai for a long time. I made two kinds of colorful shaomai. My husband said it was okay.

Soak the glutinous rice two hours in advance, prepare the minced meat, add starch, stir the thirteen spices evenly, and steam the glutinous rice with a small amount of water for 25 minutes.

While the glutinous rice is steaming, prepare chopped mushrooms, carrots, and green peppers.

Wash spinach and carrots and chop roughly.

Divide the high-gluten flour into three portions, add spinach, carrots, and water respectively and mix into a dough. Let rise for 20 minutes.

Wrap the white dough with green and red dough and arrange it into a cylinder.

Stir-fry the minced meat in a pan with a little oil until cooked, add mushrooms, carrots and green peppers, turn off the heat and add the steamed glutinous rice, stir evenly and wrap in the fillings.

Knead it together and arrange it into shape as you like. , put the cooked siomai embryos into the basket. Steam over water for 10 minutes.
