Cut tofu into 1cm thick slices.

Chop green onions into finely chopped green onions, and cut small bell peppers into small strips or dices (for decoration, omit if not available.).

Add the sauce and sugar to half a bowl of water and mix well.

Fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides.

Pour in the sauce and cook for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with chopped green onion and bell pepper.

Mildly spicy to go with rice.
