Shredded radish cake
Overview
Recently, my husband was equipped with a small oven, and I always wanted to make some snacks for the little buns. Today I chose this crispy and refreshing radish shortbread.

Steps
-
Prepare the ingredients, shred the white radish, mince the shallots, soak the dried shrimps and mince them and set aside
-
Take 150 grams of flour and 30 grams of lard, add a little sugar and salt, stir while adding water, and knead into a smooth dough when the dough is dry
-
Cover the dough with plastic wrap or a damp cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes. This is the water dough
-
Then take 100 grams of flour and 50 grams of lard without adding water, and knead directly into a dough. The lard and flour must be fully integrated to make a pastry
-
Blanch shredded radish in boiling water for one minute, then drain into cold water
-
Drain the water and set aside
-
Shred radish, minced green onion, dried shrimps, add a little oil, salt, sugar, pepper, sesame oil and mix well
-
Roll out the risen dough into a rectangular shape
-
Add the pastry in the middle of the water skin and push it out
-
Wrap the pastry on all sides of the water skin. The pastry must not be exposed
-
Turn it over to a smooth surface and roll it into a rectangular shape
-
Roll up from one side into strips and cut into equal-sized pieces. Allow to rest naturally for 10 minutes
-
Press and roll into thin crust
-
Wrap the stuffing in the mouth and press gently with the smooth side facing up
-
Brush the surface with egg wash and sprinkle with white sesame seeds
-
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees, bake for 25 minutes, take out and let cool before serving
-
Since I made a lot of stuffing and ended up with insufficient stuffing, I supplemented it with homemade bean paste. It tastes sweet and equally delicious

This one is made from shredded radish. The outside is crispy and sweet, and the inside tastes salty and fresh. Be careful when you take a bite
