Shrimp skin and winter melon in white soup
Overview
Sorry, I'm a sucker for names... Unless it's a dish or snack that is particularly famous in history and has a name (opera cake, croquettes, etc.), I usually end up at a loss for words when naming a dish, and end up with Ingredients A + Ingredients B +..., such as this dish. Of course, sometimes the effect of a Western restaurant will appear inexplicably, if the ingredients used are diverse enough and I really don't know what they are called... So, I don't know what happened to the various rhetorical techniques I learned in elementary school... The summer solstice is approaching in ten days, which is (supposedly) the time of year when the sun is closest to us, which is (supposedly) the hottest time. Most normal people will be confused about not being able to eat in summer, so people say that summer is bitter. Of course, I am a weirdo whose appetite and temperature go hand in hand. The time of year when I can't eat the most is the cold winter... So for ordinary people, it is more suitable to eat some refreshing soups to relieve the heat, such as this slightly delicious winter melon soup~

Ingredients
Steps
-
It is best to choose the middle part of a big, long winter melon with white frost on the outside. I don’t know why, but it is probably the wisdom passed down by the elders (of course, it may also be a misunderstanding)
-
Cut into slices. For better taste, cut off more of the winter melon peel. The peel will be less clean
-
Turn on low heat, dry the pot, add flour and fry slowly (of course, if you like, you can also add some butter like fried tea noodles)
-
When it turns slightly yellow, you can add a little warm water and stir well
-
Add thick soup, any flavor, I used the old hen flavor, which is salty, so I put two-thirds of the box
-
Add the pre-soaked barley kernels
-
Add winter melon chunks
-
The shrimp skin must be washed thoroughly to remove excess salt
-
Finally, when the winter melon is cooked and the barley is cooked through, add the dried shrimps
-
Just cook it for a while and it will be ready ~ a very rich white soup ~~
