Add cake flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, and matcha powder all into a large bowl

Cut the butter into cubes and add it to the flour

Knead lightly with your hands to combine the flour with butter. Finally, knead it into coarse corn meal.

Crack the eggs into a small bowl and beat with chopsticks

Slowly add into the flour and mix well with a spatula

The mixed flour will be coarse, then slowly add milk in batches and mix well

Pour the dough onto the working mat and use a spatula to knead the dough into a ball. Do not over-knead. Cover with plastic wrap and rest for 20 minutes

Sprinkle a little flour on the operating mat to prevent sticking

Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 cm and press it out into a heart shape

Arrange them one by one on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper

Brush the surface with a thin layer of whole egg wash
