Grilled tofu cubes with green onions ~ non-fried and healthier!
Overview
It seems that every dish has a memory and a story. When I was very young, I used grain to eat tofu. In winter, tofu sellers would always go to the village early to sell. Dad would get up very early every time, take the weighed grain and go to the door to exchange for tofu. So for breakfast I had fragrant onions mixed with tofu, a bowl of polenta, and half a steamed bun. Although it was simple, I was very happy to eat it. Every seemingly ordinary day and every simple meal when I was a child is now doubly precious and happy when I recall it. I rarely eat raw tofu when I have children, so I use it to cook dishes. It is simple, delicious and nutritious.

-
A piece of tofu, cut into small cubes.
-
One green onion, sliced.
-
Boil the tofu cubes in a pot of boiling water and add a spoonful of salt. Pour in the tofu and take it out when the water boils. This is to make the tofu firmer.
-
Prepare the seasoning, a spoonful of sugar, half a spoonful of vinegar, a spoonful of soy sauce, a spoonful of oyster sauce, an appropriate amount of salt, and pour them all into a bowl.
-
Pour a little oil into the pot, add the onions and stir-fry until fragrant.
-
Pour in the tofu cubes and don't stir fry.
-
Pour all the seasonings in the bowl into it, then add half a bowl of water. No need to stir-fry, just shake the pot a few times with your hands.
-
After boiling over high heat, reduce the sauce over medium heat until the soup is finished.
-
When served, it tastes very fragrant.
