Mushroom Meat Sauce
Overview
My mother’s favorite delicacy. When we lived on campus, we would always have meat sauce made by my mother every time we went home. However, there were no mushrooms at that time, just meat and chili. I could take a bottle with me and eat it for several days. Now, although the conditions are better, I still eat this sauce all the time. It is a great delicacy to mix with rice, noodles, and as an accompaniment!

Prepare ingredients

Pork belly diced

Dice the mushrooms, dice the peppers, chop the green onions, and mince the ginger

Heat the oil in the pan. When the oil is hot, add the diced pork belly. Stir-fry the oil until the color is slightly yellow. Add the green onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant

Add in diced shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry until the shiitake mushrooms become fragrant and soft

Add bean paste and stir-fry until the oil and soybean are melted together. Add chili and stir-fry until the chili changes color, then turn off the heat and remove from the pan.
