Northeast grilled cold noodles
Overview
The birthplace of grilled cold noodles is Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province. The rise of grilled cold noodles started around 1999. According to legend, it was invented by a middle-aged man named Gai at the back door of the No. 2 Middle School in Mishan City. There are three types of grilled cold noodles, charcoal grilled, teppanyaki grilled and fried, with different tastes. Teppanyaki and deep-fried dishes are currently popular. Grilled cold noodles are low cost and taste great. The cold noodles used are ordinary cold noodles in the early stage, and special cold noodles are used in the later stage (thinner and softer than the common cold noodles in the market, and do not need to be dried after processing), which are soft and can be eaten directly.
