Refreshing radish
Overview
This is a delicious radish I made last month. By chance, my boyfriend’s sister gave me a big white radish and a dozen garlics and asked me to go home and make some pickled radish myself, so I started making some myself. It tastes good!

Steps
-
Wash the radish, cut into slices about 5mm thick, cut crosswise into small slices, place in a container, add salt, mix well and marinate for 20 minutes
-
Pour out the salt water and spread it in a leaky utensil. I spread the radish slices in a large vegetable basket. A heavy object was placed on the radish. I wrapped a few thick books in clean packaging bags and pressed them on the radish slices through a piece of white gauze. Place in a dry and cool place, day and night
-
The next day, I put the drained radish in cold water and washed it. I was delighted with the spicy and astringent taste of the radish. Then use the same method in step 2, press for an hour, and release the water

Drain the water over there and prepare the juice for pickling the radish here. Chop the garlic into minced garlic, add cold water, white vinegar, white sugar, bean paste, and sesame oil, and mix until it becomes juice
-
Finally, put the radish slices and juice into a container. It is best for the juice to just cover the radish and keep it sealed. In about 2 days, you can eat crispy and refreshing radishes.
