Overview

Chongqing's home-cooked dish, called bean paste or vegetable and dregs, is traditionally made from radish leaves (pumpkin leaves), soybeans, and peanuts. Of course, you can also add minced meat, especially minced mutton stir-fried with bean paste, and cook it into mutton and bean paste, which has a salty and spicy taste; or add sweet potatoes and cook it into red wild rice bean paste, which has a sweeter taste.
