The burning white that carries love
Overview
💞My little fresh meat gégě has always wanted to eat Shao Bai. Today, while he was at work and I had a rest, I went out to the street and bought Sanxian Pork to make it. In fact, I don’t even know Sanxian Pork very well. Making this Shao Bai is a challenge. It’s my first time to make it. Enjoy it! Wouldn’t he be very happy if he can eat his favorite dishes when he comes back from get off work? Hahaha, dedicated to my little fresh meat gégě, I hope he will be happy and like it! Wish me success! 💏

Ingredients
Steps
-
The meat is cooked until chopsticks can be inserted. Put dark soy sauce on the plate, smear the skin of the meat, and then apply a layer of honey.
-
Put oil in the pan and fry the three-strand pork skin in the oil for two minutes.
-
Then soak the fried three-strand pork in the water you just left for cooking the meat. This is what it looks like after soaking. The skin will blister, hehe
-
While the meat is soaking, use the remaining oil from frying the meat to fry the bean sprouts. First add ginger, garlic, bay leaves, star anise, Sichuan peppercorns, and dried chili peppers and stir-fry until fragrant, then add bean sprouts and scallions and stir-fry. Stir-fry and set aside.
-
Cut the meat. It’s best to cut it thin so it doesn’t get greasy when steamed. I'm not very good at cutting, so the cut was a bit thick.
-
After cutting, place the meat skin side down, neatly place it in a bowl, and add ginger and minced garlic.
-
Spread the fried bean sprouts and press tightly.
-
Add water to the steamer, add the items from step 10, and steam! I covered the bowl with a plate to avoid water getting in. (~It’s steaming now, but it hasn’t come out of the pan yet. It’s the first time I’ve made it. I’m so looking forward to it! Applause! 👏👏👏The finished product will be posted in the photo soon^_^)
