Soak 2 dried squids in water until soft, wash and cut into shreds, drain and set aside.

Wash the ribs and chop them into small pieces, boil them in boiling water for five minutes to remove the foam and scoop them out. Boil water in another pot (add enough water at one time), add the ribs after the water boils, and cook for 30 minutes.

Use the time while the ribs are cooking to prepare the squid. Use a wok or a cold pan and add oil. When the oil is boiling, add shredded squid and stir-fry until dry. Add 15ml light soy sauce and stir-fry until fragrant. Dish up and set aside.

Wash the rice and set aside. After the ribs are cooked for thirty minutes, add the fried shredded squid and continue cooking for another twenty minutes.

Add washed rice and continue cooking until it becomes porridge, about 25 minutes. Stir the rice after adding it to prevent the rice from sticking to the pot.

After the porridge is ready, add 15ml of light soy sauce to enhance the flavor, then add diced chives and chopped coriander, stir slightly and continue to cook for three minutes, and it is ready.

After serving, add appropriate amount of pepper according to personal taste.
