Pork and green pepper stuffed dumplings
Overview
Because I bought ready-made dumpling wrappers this time, the whole process mainly describes the filling process!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash the green peppers and remove the seeds.
-
Chopped green pepper
-
Place the chopped green pepper in a bowl, add salt and remove the moisture.
-
Prepare pork stuffing
-
Put oil in the pot. After the oil is hot, fry the peppercorns over low heat until fragrant. Then remove the fish maw and let the oil cool. On the one hand, adding Sichuan peppercorns can enhance the aroma, and on the other hand, it won't be so greasy after the oil is heated in the pan! Better than raw oil!
-
Prepare minced onion, garlic and ginger.
-
Put the pork stuffing, green peppers, chopped green onions, and minced ginger together, add sesame oil, cooking wine, soy sauce, a small amount of salt (some salt was added when pickling the green peppers), thirteen spices, chicken essence, and the cooled oil.
-
Stir evenly. Don't make the filling too dry. If it's too dry, it won't taste good!
-
I buy ready-made dumpling wrappers because making the dough is too time-consuming, so this saves a lot of time.
-
I forgot to take pictures of the wrapped dumplings and the process of cooking them. Anyway, when the dumplings float in the pot, it means they are done! This is the finished product. My husband helped me with the dumpling making tool. He had a great time!
-
It tastes better with some garlic sauce.
-
There was a little stuffing left over from making the dumplings, so I fried them directly into meatballs, not bad!
