Meatballs, Vegetables and Vermicelli Soup

Overview

A simple, quick dish with rich ingredients and very satisfying to eat. When I was in China, I really liked the mala tang served in a store. Although it was a chain store, it tasted very good. The main dish was boiled vegetables with a white soup base, and then you could add minced garlic, green garlic, fermented bean curd, chili pepper, and pickled mustard according to your personal taste. Naturally, there is no need to pay much attention to making this Malatang-like dish at home. Everyone can just choose their favorite vegetables and meat and put them in the pot. If you feel that boiling in plain water is tasteless, you can add a thick soup treasure. I guarantee that you will be amazed at your cooking skills haha

Steps

  1. After the water boils, put the meatballs in the pot first. The frozen meatballs I bought take a long time to cook, so I put them in the pot very early. And throw in a few dried chilies and cook together.

  2. After the meatballs cook for a few minutes, add the potato slices. If you like crispy potato slices, add them later.

  3. Boil the cabbage in the pot first, then add the cabbage leaves just before starting the pot. Add salt, chicken essence and light soy sauce to taste.

  4. Then add the vermicelli, tomatoes and carrot slices.

  5. Just before leaving the country, put the lettuce and cabbage leaves in and blanch them for about a minute. Put it into a bowl and sprinkle with chopped green onion. This is not spicy.

  6. In addition, I also prepared a heavy version for myself with spicy oil, white pepper, chopped green onion and an appropriate amount of white fermented bean curd.
