Pork belly stewed with dried radish
Overview
When I was a kid, my dad often made dried radish. I tried my hand at it today. It was my first time making it and it tasted pretty good

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the pork belly into small pieces and set aside
-
Put the dried radish into a bowl and soak for twenty minutes
-
Remove the soaked dried radish
-
Heat the pot, add a little oil, and when the oil boils, add the pork belly and stir-fry (Note: Because the pork belly contains fat, just add a small amount of oil. The oil in the pork belly will be stir-fried during the stir-frying process)
-
Stir-fry the pork belly until it changes color, add an appropriate amount of sugar, and continue to stir-fry
-
Add the onions and ginger and stir-fry until the aroma of the onions and ginger is released, then add the soaked dried radish and continue to stir-fry
-
Add appropriate amount of scalding (just cover the pork belly and dried radish), salt (add according to personal taste) and bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 20 minutes. When the meat and dried radishes are cooked, increase to high heat to reduce the soup
-
Drain the soup, add chicken essence, plate, and start eating
