Chocolate Strawberry Daifuku
Overview
Blessing! Send a sweet strawberry blessing to your family or friends during the Spring Festival! I replaced the usual red bean paste with mung bean paste, and added chocolate to make the taste richer. Also, I replaced the commonly used coconut on the outer layer with fried glutinous rice flour. After one bite, the juiciness of the strawberry bursts out in your mouth, followed by the sweetness of the mung bean paste and the faint bitterness of the chocolate. Just when it feels a bit sweet and greasy, the outer layer of glutinous rice flour just relieves the greasy taste.
