Braised pork ribs (family recipe)
Overview
Our recipe does not add dark soy sauce or soy sauce, as we think the taste will change. Just fry the sugar in one step and the color will be beautiful. It’s a healthy diet, and no MSG is added. The sugar already contains sweetness. If you like it stronger, you can add a little light soy sauce. Simple and delicious, the whole family can eat it up every time.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Wash and drain the pork ribs.
-
Prepare various ingredients
-
There should be no water in the pot, put oil and heat until it is about three-quarters hot
-
Add two tablespoons of sugar. The proportion of sugar can be increased or decreased according to the number of ribs and the level of sweetness, but in order to make the stir-fry look good, it should not be too little.
-
Fry the sugar for a while and do not move it until it bubbles on its own. When the sugar bubbles are at their maximum, start to dissolve. When it is still wet, add the pork ribs.
-
Stir-fry until the color is even and the meat is firm. Add chili, Sichuan peppercorns and garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
-
Add five-spice star anise and other ingredients and stir-fry until fragrant.
-
Add water and bring to a boil over high heat.
-
Turn to low heat, cover and simmer for about half an hour. (Turn it over occasionally to avoid sticking to the pan)
-
After it is cooked (off the bone), add salt and a little light soy sauce according to taste.
-
After the juice is collected, the color starts to come out.
-
You're done! Plating. It's best eaten when hot.
