Microwave Sausage and Cheese Baked Rice
Overview
Baked rice is what both of us love to eat. My understanding is: fried rice + cheese = baked rice, of course the simplified version! And I plan to use a microwave to cook the baked rice this time, because my daughter’s workplace has a microwave and I don’t want to waste energy. Another reason is that my daughter’s classmates asked me to come up with more microwave recipes, so let’s start microwaving them now! The preliminary preparation for this meal is fried rice, leftover rice, Chinese sausage, green beans, potatoes, etc. You can add whatever you like to it, except for the watery ones. Spread plenty of mozzarella cheese on the fried rice and microwave on high for 3 minutes.

Steps
-
Preparation materials: cut carrots into small cubes, cut potatoes and sausage into small pieces, mince onions and garlic, and cook potatoes first.
-
Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and minced garlic and saute until fragrant.
-
Add green beans, carrots and sausage and stir-fry for a while.
-
Pour in the rice, first use a shovel to break the rice, then stir-fry evenly to separate the rice grains as much as possible.
-
Add potatoes, salt and sugar and stir-fry evenly. The reason why the potatoes are added when the rice is about to be fried is because the potatoes are already cooked. If they are added first, they will be fried during stir-frying.
-
Put the fried rice in a porcelain baking bowl and use a microwave-safe container.
-
Sprinkle more grated mozzarella cheese, if you like cheese, sprinkle it as much as you like!
-
Microwave on high heat for 3 minutes. Pay attention when baking rice. If the mozzarella cheese is heated to too high a temperature or for too long, it will not string.
