Quail egg meatballs
Overview
This is a great baby food. I call it [Quail Egg Meatballs]. In order to let the children eat more vegetables, I used carrots as the base when steaming the meatballs. After the carrots and meatballs are cooked, they stick together. The meatballs are fragrant and the carrots are sweet. When you take a bite, you will find a surprise - quail eggs. The baby likes it very much! Here, mom recommends that babies over 12 months old eat it cut into slices. Older babies eat it directly or dip it in tomato sauce, which is more delicious!

Steps
-
Prepare the main ingredients. Smash the green onion and ginger slices and soak them in the onion and ginger water. Peel and wash the carrots
-
Boil quail eggs in cold water
-
Remove the fascia from the lean pork and cut into thick slices (the amount of meat this time was a bit large, there was still some leftover at the end)
-
Put the meat slices into a cooking cup and add 3 tablespoons of onion and ginger water
-
Stir into a fine meat paste
-
Peel the steamed buns and cut into fine pieces
-
Take a large bowl, beat in the egg whites (put the egg yolks in another bowl for later use), add starch, 2 tablespoons of water, minced steamed buns, salt, and minced meat, mix well with your hands, and stir clockwise until there is resistance
-
Peel off the skin of the quail eggs and cut the carrots into thick slices (put water in the steamer at this time, brush a little vegetable oil on the drawer, and lay out the carrot slices)
-
Dip your hands in water, take a piece of meat paste and roll it into a round cake, press it into a small nest, put in the quail eggs and wrap it into a round shape
-
Place the meatballs on top of the carrot slices with the package, cover, and steam for 30 minutes
-
When steaming for 25 minutes, open the lid and brush a layer of egg yolk liquid on the meatballs
-
Steam for another 5 minutes. When the egg liquid is solidified, open the lid and serve. The small meatballs are steamed, and the little ones can slice them or eat them directly. The older ones can eat them dipped in tomato sauce. They are very good. The carrots are very soft and sweet after being steamed, and they can be absorbed well when paired with the meatballs.
