Stir in celery leaves
Overview
I heard that stir-fried celery leaves are a daily cold dish that has often appeared on our family's dining table since my grandma was young. In the era of reform and opening up, food was extremely scarce, let alone celery leaves. Even the dry yellow withered leaves were not willing to be discarded by ordinary families. In order to fill the stomachs of her family, she would always change her ways and make them into delicious food. Later, as time went by, As dad and his brothers and sisters grew up, although the living conditions improved, the family still liked the taste, maybe it was a habit, or it could be a reminiscence of the past; parents usually picked fresh celery leaves alone, blanch them in boiling water, sprinkle some vinegar and chili peppers and eat them cold. The taste is sour and spicy, and the pungent taste of celery is not noticeable at all! I personally like to eat it as well as my friends who have eaten it. This is a dish that I have always been proud of. Every time I turn waste into treasure like a magician and get praise from my friends, it is a very happy thing for me!
