Crystal Shrimp Dumplings

Overview

Introduction: Wheat starch is also called corn starch. It is irreplaceable when making crystal dough. It is available at cornstarch stores in supermarkets. Cornstarch is the cornstarch commonly used for thickening dishes. The raw material is corn, so it is also called cornstarch. Crystal dough requires a mixture of these two kinds of cornstarch. Crystal dough is particularly prone to drying and cracking. Since this whole process was done using a noodle machine, the action was very fast and there was basically no drying problem. If it is done by hand, the action must be faster. The dough and dough need to be covered with a damp cloth to prevent cracking. Crystal skin dough is usually made into shrimp dumpling dough by patting it with a knife. If you don't know how, you can also roll it out with a rolling pin. Since this was my first time making crystal shrimp dumplings, I didn't dare to make any mistakes in the shape. I wrapped it in a dumpling shape and made breakthroughs when I make it later.
