Stewed pig's feet with peanuts and soybeans
Overview
A few days ago, my mother made a pot of braised food while she was in the hospital. She was supposed to bring it to her husband, but she forgot to bring it. I don’t eat much myself. After eating it for several days, I still have a pig’s trotter. In order to make it more delicious and nutritious, I will reprocess the pig’s trotter.

Wash and soak peanuts and beans.

I soaked it overnight, washed it in cold water and put it in the pot.

Add the braised ingredients, star anise and salt and cook over high heat.

While the beans are cooking, remove the pig trotters.

Split apart.

Bring the beans to a boil and reduce the heat to low.

Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.

Add the pig trotters and mix well.

Change to high heat and cook for 10 minutes.
