Ingredients
Steps
-
Have all raw materials ready.
-
Except for the butter, put the other raw materials of the dough into the cooking machine in the order of liquid in the bottom layer, powder in the middle layer, sugar, salt and yeast in the upper layer, and knead until a thick film can be drawn out.
-
After adding butter, continue to turn on the cooker and knead for about 20 minutes.
-
Knead until it reaches the expansion stage and a thin film can be stretched out.
-
Place in a warm, moist place to ferment until the dough doubles in size.
-
Dip your finger in flour and poke a hole. If it doesn't shrink back or collapse, it means fermentation is complete. It takes about 1 hour.
-
Deflate the fermented dough with a rolling pin. Divide a 36g piece of dough first, divide the rest into 12 equal parts, roll them into balls, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes.
-
While the dough is resting, we will make the coconut filling.
-
Melt the butter and add the whole egg liquid and powdered sugar, stir evenly, then add the grated coconut and stir evenly with a spatula.
-
Finally, divide them into 12 equal portions and roll them into balls.
-
Roll the relaxed dough into a round cake shape and put coconut filling in the middle.
-
Close the mouth tightly and point downward.
-
Roll it into a round shape.
-
The shaped dough is placed in a 12-piece mold. Put it in the oven for the second time, ferment at 35°C, and put a cup of hot water at the same time for the final fermentation. It will take about 30 minutes to ferment until it doubles in size.
-
.While the dough is fermenting, we will make the bunny ears. Take out the remaining 36g of dough and divide it into 24 pieces.
-
After rolling the small dough into an oval shape, roll it from the long side into a long strip, and fold it in half to form a bunny ear. After all the bunny ears are made, take out the fermenting dough. Apply water to the tip of the bunny ear and stick it to the top of the dough, with the long part resting on the edge of the mold.
-
Brush a layer of egg wash on the surface of the dough, bake at 160°C up and down, middle layer, for 18 minutes.
-
After taking it out of the oven, unmold it and let it cool on the grill. Use melted dark chocolate to draw expressions, and pink and yellow chocolate to draw flower shapes as decoration.
