Fried rice cake with squid
Overview
I didn’t know how to cook before, I could only eat. Now that my parents are getting older, their sense of taste has gradually deteriorated, so most of the dishes at home are tasteless. I kept saying I would cook, but I never kept my promise. Recently, on a whim, I downloaded the recipe wizard and found a few dishes that looked simple and delicious. I tried them and the response was pretty good. Today’s show is the squid fried rice cake I made 3 days ago. It’s actually not an innovative dish. I just found that the cumin was gone during the cooking process, so I substituted sesame oil + black pepper on a whim. It tasted pretty good. The first time I made it, I didn’t add any seasonings. I hope I can do better next time. This is the first time I have made a simple dish seriously. I don’t know if this method is considered to be roasting or stir-frying, haha. This can be considered his first official appearance in the culinary world, haha, it made everyone laugh. Let me remember the names of the dishes: 6.2 Fried rice cakes with squid (it was quite successful, my dad even took out some white wine to take a sip, haha.) 6.3 Yam, fungus and carrots (it was like stewing, the taste was a bit weird) 6.4 Lettuce with oyster sauce (it tasted good, but the sauce was too much, and the lettuce was a little discolored after cooking for a long time, but the taste was quite good, I ate up the whole plate myself, haha)

Step 0: Clean the squid: clean the internal organs, wash, cut into strips, fill a horse spoon with water and bring to a boil, blanch the squid, half-cooked is best, remove and set aside; cut onions and ginger and set aside. I didn’t take any pictures at this step, just imagine it for yourself. Add to the pan: Pour oil, warm the onion and ginger, add the squid after 10 seconds, stir-fry two or three times to heat evenly, add rice cake slices, when the rice cake becomes soft add garlic chili sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.

The finished product comes out of the pot without explanation.

This is the yam, fungus, carrot I made the next day, and was ridiculed by people in my circle of friends as a random stew... Well, I am actually not very satisfied with it myself. The taste is weird, so I will dig into it more.

This is the oyster sauce lettuce I made yesterday. The sauce was adjusted too much, but the taste was okay. I originally used the recipe wizard to share, but I haven't seen it yet, so I'll make a backup here.
