Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare a piece of pumpkin, wash it,
-
Cut into thin slices (the thinner the slices, the easier it will be cooked)
-
Spread it out on a plate,
-
Seal it with plastic wrap (to prevent moisture from entering during steaming and causing excessive moisture)
-
Put it in a pot and steam it for 5 minutes over high heat. (I cut it thinner and it is easier to cook. If it is thicker, it needs to be steamed for a while longer.)
-
The steamed pumpkin is very soft and can be turned into puree by pressing it lightly. (If it cannot be pressed, it means that the steaming time is not enough and you need to steam it for a while.)
-
Pour the pumpkin into a larger bowl,
-
Use a spoon to press the pumpkin into puree,
-
First add two tablespoons of glutinous rice flour and white sugar, and slowly add the glutinous rice flour while mixing. (You must not add enough glutinous rice flour at one time in this step, because the water content of each pumpkin is different. You need to add flour slowly according to the actual situation, not necessarily the amount in my dosage.)
-
Just make sure it doesn't stick to your hands (don't make it too dry, otherwise it won't be too soft)
-
Divide into equal amounts of small doses (mine can be divided into seven 20g small doses)
-
Press into a small round cake, (or other shapes you like)
-
Put a little oil in the pot,
-
Fry slowly over low heat until both sides are golden brown. (The heat should not be too high, otherwise it will be burnt.)
