Cute and cute【Squeeze the little yellow chicken bread】
Overview
I made this cute little bread for the children at home. I didn’t feel anything bad after baking the little bread. Once I drew the expression, it was so cute. Friends who love baking suggest making one. The children will be very happy. It’s so cute~~

Ingredients
Steps
-
Peel and cut the pumpkin into pieces, put it into a bowl and steam it in a pot. It is best to cover it with plastic wrap, as the steam will flow backwards, which will make the pumpkin puree wetter. The pumpkins you buy are different and have different moisture contents. The final pumpkin puree has different humidity. You need to adjust it yourself when kneading the dough later
-
After steaming, use a food processor to beat the pumpkin into a paste, the finer the better. If you don’t have a food processor, you can let it cool and then put it in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to roll it into thin pieces
-
Put all the dough ingredients except butter into the bread machine bucket in the order of liquid in the bottom layer, flour in the middle layer, and dry yeast in the upper layer, and select the dough mixing program for 20 minutes
-
Add the softened butter at room temperature and start the kneading process for another 20 minutes until the dough is complete
-
At this time it is time to stretch out the glove mold
-
Put the kneaded dough into a clean container, cover it with a lid or plastic wrap, and ferment in a warm place
-
Let it grow until doubled in size
-
Then take out the dough and press it on the panel to deflate it.
-
First, divide a 40g small piece of dough to make the wings and mouth of the small yellow chicken, cover it with plastic wrap and set aside. Divide the rest into 8 equal portions, about 50g each
-
Place 8 pieces of dough into an 18cm hollow chimney mold
-
Divide the remaining dough into 8 parts (wings), 3g each
-
Then brush some water on the bottom and move the wings to the corresponding parts. Remember to cover with plastic wrap to prevent the dough from drying out
-
Add a little red yeast rice powder to the remaining dough and knead it into a red dough
-
Divide out 8 small pieces of dough of about 0.5 grams, round them and use a scraper to cut a mark in the middle to make the mouth of the little yellow chicken (there will be some leftover red dough). After everything is done, brush some water and stick it to the corresponding position
-
Place in the oven for secondary fermentation. It doesn’t take long, the fermentation temperature is 30 degrees, it only takes half an hour
-
Then preheat the oven to 170 degrees. After preheating, place the mold on the bottom shelf of the oven and bake at 170 degrees for 30 minutes. If you are afraid of coloring, be sure to cover it with tin foil halfway. Don't bake it undercooked because you are afraid of coloring, otherwise the surface will wrinkle after cooling. The oven temperature can be adjusted according to the characteristics of your own oven. Take it out immediately after baking, unmold and place on the grill to cool
-
Then just use a baking pen to draw expressions. If you don’t have any, you can use chocolate, put it in a piping bag, heat and melt it, cut a small slit at the front, and then draw
