Place the spine in a basin of cold water, soak in the bleeding water, shred the sauerkraut and place in the basin for later use

Place the spine in a pressure cooker filled with cold water and bring to a boil over low heat to remove the blood

Put the pickled cabbage, aniseed, green onions and ginger slices into the pot and cover the pot. Bring the steam to high heat and then reduce the heat to low for 15 minutes

After releasing the pressure, turn to low heat, add appropriate amount of salt and soy sauce, and simmer for 5 minutes. The authentic sauerkraut braised pork ribs is ready
