[Tomato Recipe] Old Beijing Red Mooncakes - Let’s miss the dim sum taste of old Beijing together
Overview
Zi Lai Hong and Zi Lai White are both traditional Beijing-style mooncakes, and their names come from their different skin colors. Tomato remembers that the most memorable thing when he was a child was the red mooncake. Everyone would eat it during the Mid-Autumn Festival, and it is a mooncake with a long history. The homemade red mooncakes do not taste as soft and rich as Cantonese-style mooncakes or Soviet-style mooncakes, but they evoke the childhood memories of children in old Beijing.
