Spicy fish fillet
Overview
I didn't plan to make this dish before. I went to eat hot pot yesterday. I didn't budget properly and ordered too much. I couldn't finish the leftover fish fillets and some vegetables. I didn't want to waste it and packed it back. With just a few simple ingredients, it has a unique flavor. It goes well with two bowls of rice. As for fish, any fish is fine, there is no hard requirement.

Wash the lettuce, and I have some cabbage left to cook together.
-
Pour pepper oil into the pot, add lettuce and stir-fry
-
Put the fried lettuce in a bowl as a side dish
-
Marinate the fish fillets with some starch. The amount of fish fillets I had was a bit small. If you want to cook and buy fish at home, you can ask the merchant to help you fillet it. The quantity should be much more than mine

Cut the garlic into small pieces, add oil to the pot, add minced garlic, ginger slices and Sichuan peppercorns and stir-fry until fragrant, then add Pixian bean paste and stir-fry until fragrant
-
Add appropriate amount of water and boil
-
After the water is boiled, add the fish fillets and bring to a boil

Remove the cooked fish fillets and place them on the lettuce. Pour in some of the soup just enough to cover the fish fillets
-
Sprinkle Sichuan peppercorns and chili powder on top
-
Re-heat the pan and pour 10ml of hot oil on the fish fillets. You can see the oil boiling
-
Sprinkle chopped green onion and serve
