Prepare ingredients: minced beef, rice, carrots, Fuling pickled mustard.

Cut the carrots and Fuling mustard into cubes.

Put the leftover rice, diced carrots, minced beef, and Fuling mustard into a basin (no need to add salt, just use the saltiness of Fuling mustard).

Wearing disposable gloves, shape the rice mixture into a large ball.

Dip in egg wash.

Roll in starch.

Then roll in the egg liquid.

Finally coat with bread crumbs.

Fry in hot oil (to save oil, I used a stainless steel round lunch box instead of an iron pan).

The rice balls are fried, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, fresh and salty.
