Hillbilly Braised Eggs
Overview
Braised eggs is probably a required course for every mother! Those redneck braised eggs sold in supermarkets always make me feel uneasy when eating them. Firstly, I am worried about leaving them for too long, and secondly, I am not sure about the source of the eggs. In fact, classic redneck braised eggs can be made at home, and they are super simple and the ingredients are easy to prepare!

Boil the free-range eggs, peel off the shells, and prepare other ingredients.

Put all the seasonings into a small milk pot, including half a bottle of dark beer and Dahongpao tea! Then add a bowl of water, mix evenly, and boil the pot of brine first.

After the brine boils, add the cooked eggs and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes, turning with chopsticks several times during this period.

After cooking, do not take it out immediately, but soak it for about 4 hours or more, then the delicious braised eggs will be ready.
