Ingredients
Steps
-
Crush the walnuts, fully dissolve the brown sugar in 100-degree boiling water, dissolve the yeast in 30-degree warm water (preferably not hot) and let it sit for 3 minutes.
-
Mix yeast and brown sugar water (warm) and pour in flour.
-
Knead into a smooth dough, cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm environment until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
-
If it doesn't spring back when pressed with your fingers, it means it's fermented.
-
Knead the risen dough for another 5 minutes to deflate the air, shape into long strips, cut into balls, make a slit in the middle, and sprinkle some brown sugar and walnut kernels ~
-
Or make it into the shape you like, cover it with gauze and let it relax for about ten minutes, the potion will become larger.
-
Place the ingredients in a hot pan (turn off the heat) and let them rise for the second time, about 10 minutes. Bring the water to a boil and steam for 20 minutes, then turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
