Mushroom braised rice
Overview
If you buy too much fresh mushrooms, the most appetizing way to use them up quickly is to make mushroom rice. With it, your husband can fill three big bowls of rice without having to eat other dishes!

Cook the rice according to the usual portion at home, but half of the water is white water, and the other half is replaced with chicken broth. You can buy chicken soup canned in the supermarket, or you can make it yourself from chicken breasts. Add a small amount of oil and salt to the rice cooker.

Dice the mushrooms and add oyster sauce, oil, salt and pepper to taste

Cook the rice until it is half cooked (open the lid of the cooker and there is still a lot of water and you can see the rice grains slightly above the water), add the shiitake mushrooms and stir evenly

Place the mushrooms, cover the lid, let the rice cooker automatically jump to "keep warm", and then continue to simmer for 10-15 minutes

Sprinkle some chopped green onion over the rice
