Song Yuanzi
Overview
Songyuanzi is a traditional snack of the Hakka people in Ninghua. Songyuanzi means relaxation, so during the New Year and festivals, the Hakka people in Ninghua always make some to eat, hoping to have a relaxed year!

Wash the taro, cook it in a pressure cooker, peel it and set aside

Cut the pork, carrots, soaked dried bamboo shoots, and mushrooms into small dices, and chop the chives into fine pieces and set aside

Heat a wok, add oil, add diced pork and fry until cooked

Then add carrots, dried bamboo shoots and stir-fry

Add mushrooms and green onions and continue to stir-fry

Finally, add salt, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, pepper and other seasonings (you can make it saltier), and then let the stuffing cool

After the filling cools down, add tofu, cooked taro, and sweet potato starch, and stir evenly

Make water in a pot, squeeze out the dough from between your thumb and index finger with your hands, use a small spoon to put the squeezed out dough into the pot and cook
