Homemade sugar and oil cake
Overview
Sugar oil dada is a famous snack in Hunan. Authentic sugar oil dada is fried, and a large pot of oil and sugar is used to fry the sugar oil. The manufacturing process is exquisite and has a special manufacturing process. This should be considered a home-cooked version of sugar and oil dada. Although it is not particularly authentic, it is simple and delicious.

Put glutinous rice flour into a large bowl

Add about 130g of water to the glutinous rice flour, stir evenly with chopsticks while adding water

Stir until it is dry and thin, and knead into a dough

Divide the kneaded glutinous rice flour into small portions of about 20 grams each, roll them into balls one by one and press them flat

Add salad oil to the pan, heat over medium heat, turn to low heat when the oil temperature is 40% hot, add the green dough and fry slowly

Fry over low heat until one side is browned and skinned, then flip over and fry the other side

Put brown sugar in a small bowl

Add 40g hot water and stir until the brown sugar melts

Pour brown sugar water into the pot
