Secret Braised Pork
Overview
Braised pork is made by hundreds of people. Every household has a different method. However, this home-made method can make the meat fat but not greasy, soft and delicious. Come and try it.

A piece of pork belly, washed and drained.

Cut into 2-wide pieces with a knife.

Add cooking wine, onion, ginger and garlic to a pot of cold water and blanch the water. Wash and drain the blanched pork belly and set aside.

Prepare minced garlic.

Heat oil in a pot, add appropriate amount of sugar and stir-fry until the color turns brown. Add pork belly and stir-fry.

After coloring, add appropriate amount of salt.

Star anise, bay leaf, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, appropriate amount of dark soy sauce, add appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat and simmer over low heat.

Simmer for about 1 hour.

When the soup is thick, turn off the heat and remove from the pot.
