Granola-Homemade Granola
Overview
A simple and nutritious homemade granola for breakfast or late-night snack is not only healthy but also easy to gain weight. It is paired with my favorite dried fruit. As a breakfast, it can make you feel full all morning without being hungry. Usually I make two cups of overnight oatmeal the next night, a layer of yogurt, a layer of granola and a little jam, and cover them layer by layer; it can be eaten as breakfast the next morning, and it tastes quite delicious. In fact, it can also be used as a midnight snack, which is better than eating instant noodles late at night. The benefit of oatmeal is that it can absorb excess cholesterol. My husband doesn’t like to eat plain cooked oatmeal, so I thought of this method so that he can eat oatmeal every day. As for nuts, you can mix them as you like.

Steps
-
All ingredients are weighed and set aside.
-
Wash the dried blackcurrants with warm water and soak them in warm water for 2 minutes. This step is based on personal preference, because this type of dried fruit will have small sand, so I usually wash it before using it.
-
Pour away the water in which the blackcurrants were soaked, and use kitchen paper to absorb the water from the blackcurrants and set aside.
-
Cut raw almonds, walnuts and dried macadamia nuts into small pieces, and cut dried mango into small dices.
-
Set aside brown sugar and flaxseed oil.
-
Place plain cereal in a bread bin and add flaxseed oil and brown sugar.
-
Activate the stir-fry function of the bread machine.
-
Open the bread machine's fruit lid to allow excess water to escape.
-
Stir-fry in the bread machine for 10 minutes, then add raw walnuts and almonds and stir-fry together.
-
When the bread machine is stir-frying for 10 minutes, add dried blackcurrants and stir-fry. If there are no washed blackcurrants or raisins, there is no need to add them.
-
After the bread machine is done stirring, immediately pour the oatmeal into a baking pan to let it cool, and line the bottom with a piece of baking paper.
-
At this time add dried cranberries, dried mango, macadamia nuts, and pumpkin seeds.
-
Mix the added dried fruits evenly and wait until they are completely cooled before placing them in a sealed jar for storage. Best consumed within a month.
