Steps
-
Cut the onion with a diagonal knife and slice the ginger
-
Put water in the pot and bring to a boil, add the washed spareribs and blanch them, then take them out
-
Boil another pot of water (you can boil some water in advance to save time when cooking), add onion, ginger and aniseed
-
Add the blanched pork ribs
-
Cover the pot and bring to a boil
-
Use a razor blade on the sauerkraut
-
Tear it apart, a bit like a butterfly knife for cutting fish fillets, but only tear the thick part of the vegetable. This is done to make it easier to cook and to make the sauerkraut more flavorful
-
Sliced sauerkraut and shredded
-
Cut the sauerkraut into shreds, wash them with clean water, remove them and remove excess water
-
Put the chopped sauerkraut into the pot and stew together with the ribs. If there is not enough water, you can add some more, but remember to heat the water
-
Cover the pot and bring to a boil
-
Stew until the aroma gradually thickens and the sauerkraut is about to mature, add vermicelli and continue simmering
-
Use chopsticks to pick up the sauerkraut and vermicelli. It will be ready when the sauerkraut and vermicelli become transparent
-
Just add salt and MSG

Delicious food is ready
