This is my first time to make mackerel dumplings. Because I saw that mackerel is very fresh and cheap, I bought one for four yuan and fifty cents. It’s very affordable and tastes very fresh. You might as well give it a try

After cleaning the mackerel, I took it out of the refrigerator and let it melt at room temperature. It is easier to handle since it is not very soft

Peel the Spanish mackerel, remove the internal organs, bones and spines, and chop into fine pieces

Add salt, white pepper (to remove the fishy smell), Maggi fresh soy sauce and sesame oil, stir evenly
