Wash fresh shiitake mushrooms and cut into strips, wash and cut white jade mushrooms into two sections. Cut carrots into small pieces.

Wash the rice and put it into the electric pressure cooker. Add as much water as you would normally use to simmer rice.

Heat the lard in the pot (use lard to make the stewed rice more oily and palatable).

Heat the lard and add a little vegetable oil. Add mushrooms and carrots and stir-fry.
