Steps
-
Boil the chestnut meat bought in the supermarket in water to make it softer and waxier. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes
-
Blanch the pork ribs and remove impurities
-
Put the ribs and chestnuts into a steaming bowl (a stainless steel bowl works well). Add seasonings: 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 3 tbsp cooking wine, 1.5 tbsp bean paste, 2 slices ginger, 1 tbsp salt. Mix well.
-
While the rice cooker is cooking, place the chestnut ribs on the steaming rack
-
Plate. The pork ribs are fragrant and soft, and the chestnuts are sweet and glutinous... go well with rice~ almost the same as braised ones, haha~
