Prepare materials.

Wash the red dates and soak them in water for 2 hours.

Soak the lotus seeds in advance, remove the lotus seeds and set aside

Soak the glutinous rice for 6 hours in advance, add water to the pot and blanch the glutinous rice for 2 minutes.

Take out the blanched glutinous rice, drain it and set aside.

Add a little water to the wok and bring to a boil.

Boil the water and add brown sugar, cook the brown sugar over low heat, add a little lard and stir-fry together.

Boil the brown sugar and pour it over the dried glutinous rice while it is still hot. Add a little corn oil and stir evenly.

Add water to a boiling pot, cook the soaked lotus seeds, remove and set aside.

Cut off the heads of soaked red dates and set aside. Embed the lotus seeds into the red dates one by one.

Take an empty bowl, grease it with oil, and place the red dates embedded with lotus seeds neatly on the bottom of the bowl.

Put the mixed glutinous rice into the bowl with the red dates, press it tightly, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put it in a steamer to steam for 30 minutes.
