Simple Sushi Roll
Overview
Xiaobao saw me making sushi in the kitchen, which attracted her great interest. She came over and said: Mommy, I want to learn too. I want to make a super big sushi. Since the child is interested, the mother is naturally happy. When I finished talking on the phone and returned to the kitchen, I was dumbfounded. After Xiaobao laid down the plastic wrap, he immediately put thick rice and a lot of ingredients. When preparing the rolls, he realized that he had forgotten to put seaweed. And it couldn't be rolled up, so I just wrapped it into a big rice ball. Looking at these, we all laughed so hard that we couldn’t stand upright. . . Of course, such a big rice ball is left to Bao's dad to digest. It’s not a waste anyway haha~~ Let’s get back to the topic: Remember the following steps and you can make a simple sushi with no cooking skills~~

Ingredients
Steps
-
First wash the rice and glutinous rice, put them into the rice cooker, and cook them in the same way as usual. A ratio of 3:1 between rice and glutinous rice is recommended to increase the stickiness of sushi.
-
During the cooking process, you can prepare the sushi ingredients. Beat the eggs, stir in some salt, fry them into slices, and then cut them into strips.
-
Peel the carrots and cut them into thin strips. Boil water in a pot, add some salt, blanch the carrot strips, remove and dip them in some soy sauce and set aside. Peel the cucumber and cut into strips. Cut chicken sausage into 1 part into 4 parts. (As shown in the picture)
-
After the rice is cooked, scoop it up and let it cool slightly. Add a little sushi vinegar and mix well. (Add according to personal taste)
-
Place the sushi roll on a clean board and spread a layer of plastic wrap a little larger than the roll curtain. Put plastic wrap on it to prevent rice from sticking to the sushi curtain and make it easier to clean.
-
Place seaweed slices on top of the plastic wrap. (That is, seaweed slices)
-
Spread a thin layer of mixed rice on top of the seaweed.
-
Arrange egg strips, carrot strips, chicken sausage, and cucumber strips neatly and evenly.
-
Roll up one end close to your body, pull up the rolling curtain and plastic wrap on both sides, and gently press it with your hands in the middle.
-
While rolling, pull the plastic wrap and roller shutter. (Be careful not to roll the plastic wrap into the rice)
-
After rolling it, hold the roller blind with a little force, like twisting a towel to do the shaping step.
-
Then open the roller shutter.
-
Pull out the plastic wrap easily.
-
Cut into pieces. (Knife for cutting sushi should be sharpened and dipped in water when cutting to prevent sticking)
-
Let’s eat~~ (If you like it, it tastes better if you like it dipped in mustard)
