Mix flour, starch, and aluminum-free baking powder, pour in appropriate amount of water, and mix until thick and crispy.

Peel and cut yam into sections.

Coat the yam evenly with the crispy batter.

Fry in 50% hot oil pan over medium heat until the skin is golden and crispy.

Remove and drain the oil.

Pour half a cup of water into the wok, add 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir quickly while heating until the soup becomes thick. Add rose paste and continue stirring until thick. Add a few drops of vegetable oil.

Pour in the fried yam strips and mix quickly.
