Sausage braised rice
Overview
What I’m making today is sausage and mushroom rice, using Xiangxi sausage, white jade mushrooms, carrots and good Wuchang rice. The Xiangxi Sausage is Wangjiawu brand given to me by a friend. It is evenly fat and thin, and bright red in color. It makes you very appetizing just by looking at it! When it comes out of the pot, every grain of rice is soaked up with the fat and aroma of the sausage, and shines brightly. It’s so beautiful! The fragrance of rice, the spiciness of Xiangxi sausage, and the smoothness of mushrooms are all in this bowl~

Prepare the ingredients;

Wash the rice and soak it in water 30 minutes in advance;

Peel the carrots, and dice the onions, sausages, and white mushrooms to about the same size;

Put the pot on the stove and sauté the sausage over medium-low heat until fragrant;

Add onions and carrots in turn, stir-fry until fragrant, add white mushrooms, and stir-fry over high heat for a while;

Drain the soaked rice and put it into the rice cooker, spread the fried ingredients on top, add less water than usual for cooking, and then select the normal cooking program;

After the rice cooking process is completed, open the lid of the pot, use a spatula to mix the rice, sausage and other ingredients evenly, sprinkle with chopped green onions, then close the lid and simmer for a few minutes. You can add salt to taste according to your own taste;
