Blue Jar Cookies
Overview
There is actually a story to tell you: I was admitted to postgraduate school in the second half of my senior year. People say that those who take the postgraduate entrance exams live like dogs, while those who do not take the postgraduate entrance exams live like pigs. I really can’t bear to be like a pig, so I plan to move around~ But - after all, I am a student! I didn’t have much spare money at all, so I chose the popular work-for-accommodation option, which was to work in a youth hostel in exchange for food and accommodation, which saved a lot of money! I went to the small town of Fenghuang. In April, I worked as a host and translator for foreigners in an international youth hostel. Since there were not many people in the town who could speak English, I was quite good at it. The one thing about Phoenix was that it was always gloomy and gloomy in April, and it rained from time to time. It was colder inside the mountains than outside. When it rained, I shivered. I held my 800 ml hot water bottle every day to keep warm. They all said it was my lifeblood... Later, during the Qingming Festival holiday, my classmates came to visit me and brought a large box of blue canned cookies. They said they were worried that I would be cold and brought some high-energy foods. I was literally bursting into tears! Later, I really ate one piece every time it was cold, and I felt much better~ Then it was summer vacation in July, and I happened to have a baking friend at home who was cooking up various blue can cookie recipes. After trying more than ten recipes, I finally came up with this closest recipe and passed it on to me. I made it once and it was like the real thing!
