Overview
In our country, white radish is known as small ginseng. There is also a saying that when radish is on the market, the doctor is fine. When the radish goes to the city, the doctor is closed. Eat radish in winter and ginger in summer. Do not ask the doctor to prescribe medicine. If you only eat radish, you will make the doctor angry. There is also a saying that expresses the benefits of radish: Eating radish and drinking tea will make the doctor angry all over the street. My husband told me to eat more radishes in winter. In the past, I always fried shredded white radish or made radish soup. Today I will try eating it in a different way!

Steps
-
Wash and peel the white radish and cut into hob pieces
-
Chop the onion, ginger and garlic, and set aside the peppercorns
-
Mix 2 tsp dark soy sauce, 2 tsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar and 2 tsp oil into the sauce
-
Put oil in a pot, heat the oil and sauté the onions, ginger, garlic and aniseed, add the white radish and stir-fry
-
Add the sauce, stir-fry evenly, then add a bowl of water just enough to cover the white radish, because dark soy sauce is already salty due to oil consumption, so add less salt according to your own taste
-
Bring to a boil over high heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add appropriate amount of water and starch to thicken the gravy
-
Finally, add some sesame oil, take it out of the pan and put it on a plate, then sprinkle some chopped green onion.
