Prepare the ingredients.

Chop the duck neck into small pieces, add green onions and ginger and boil with water.

Rinse off the scum and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add onions, ginger, spices, and Pixian bean paste and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant.

Add duck neck.

Add dark soy sauce and light soy sauce and stir-fry until coloured.

Add beer and bring sugar to a boil

Simmer over low heat for half an hour and remove all the ingredients and spices.
