Ingredients
Steps
-
Glutinous rice and black rice are ready.
-
Add water and soak overnight.
-
The next day, the nuts are ready and you can choose any nuts you like.
-
The soaked rice grains can be cut off so that they can be steamed later.
-
Drain the rice grains and prepare a spoonful of lard.
-
Add the rice grains and stir evenly. Whether it is eight-treasure rice or glutinous rice, lard must be used. It will make your steamed glutinous rice moist and fragrant, which cannot be replaced by cooking oil.
-
You can add a little white sugar or brown sugar, depending on your taste.
-
Stir evenly again to coat the rice grains with lard and sugar.
-
Prepare a steaming bowl and coat it with a thin layer of cooking oil.
-
Put the nuts on the bottom layer.
-
Put the rice grains into a bowl, flatten them gently with the back of a spoon, then use a spoon to scoop in three to five tablespoons of purified water, and sprinkle it evenly. This will prevent the glutinous rice from being too dry.
-
Place in a steamer, turn to low heat and steam for about an hour.
-
Cook until the glutinous rice is cooked.
-
After steaming, take it out, cover it, flip it back out, sprinkle a layer of sugar over it, and serve it while it's hot.
-
Sweet, glutinous and delicious.
