Cabbage and pork pie
Overview
In our family, this is called fried pie, and my father loves it the most. After I got married, I inherited my father’s craftsmanship, but unfortunately I wasn’t good at it. But my family said it was pretty good.

Steps
-
Prepare cabbage, minced pork, carrots, and dough. My husband helped me knead the dough. It’s a little rough, but that’s okay. I’ll just knead it again and it’ll be fine.
-
Add a little salt, water and thirteen spices to the minced meat and mix well, then add the minced onion and ginger and stir well.
-
Cut the cabbage into small pieces and squeeze out the water. (I sprinkled salt and kneaded out the water. You can also wrap it with a cloth and squeeze out the water. Use a food processor to grate the carrots into shreds and chop them finely. Add the minced cabbage and carrots into the prepared meat filling and stir.
-
Add light soy sauce and chicken essence, stir well. Because the cabbage has been rubbed with salt before, no salt is added here.
-
Knead the dough into a long strip, flatten it into a uniform shape.
-
Roll out the dough into a slightly thick crust in the middle
-
Add meat filling
-
Just like making a bun, seal it tightly after wrapping it
-
Gently press it flat with your mouth facing down
-
Wrap them up in order
-
Put oil in the pan, heat it up, add the pie dough, and fry over low heat
-
After turning it over several times, when both sides are set, add an appropriate amount of water and cover the pot. After a while, the cake body will expand due to heat, just turn it over a few times.

The delicious pie is ready
